‘20% lottery proceeds for infrastructure dev’t’
The Acting Executive Secretary, National Lottery Trust Fund (NLTF), Mr Bello Maigari, has said that 20 per cent of proceeds from lottery are being utilized for infrastructural development, particularly in the areas of sport, education, security and environmental sustainability.
Speaking in Lagos at the launch of cashToken, an electronic reward and celebratory gift commodity initiated by Keystone Bank and CeLD innovations, Maigari said while the federal, state and local governments make efforts to facilitate or bring about development, conscious and innovative development of Public Emotional Equity has limited the effort.
“The potential impact of building public emotional equity is credibly huge and may be the most crucial tool to turn citizens to genuine partners of their government,” he said.
Describing CashToken to promote change in consumer behavior when effectively delivered, Maigari said the product is expected to give consumers an endless cycle of reward which all Africans should be proud of.
The initiator of the product and Chief Executive Officer, CeLD Innovations, Lai Labode said CashToken is a performance-based system designed to optimize customer loyalty investments for businesses across multiple industries and development of beneficiary emotional equity.
