Reinstated permanent secretaries get postings
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the redeployment of three federal permanent secretaries including two of those reinstated penultimate Friday.
Buhari had directed that the appointments of Mrs. Ibukun Abimbola Odusote, Mrs. Nkechi Ejele and Mrs. Fatima Binta Bamidele should not be terminated as the allegations against them could not be proven.
The trio had been without posting since November 2015 when Buhari approved the retirement of 17 permanent secretaries and appointed 18 new ones, 16 from serving directors, and two from private sector.
But the three permanent secretaries were not deployed on the grounds that they were under investigation for misdemeanors.
Mrs. Fatima Bamidele had since retired from the service upon her attainment of the mandatory age of 60 years.
Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita in a circular dated June 29, 2018 approved the postings of Mrs.Odusote and Mrs.Ejele.
While Odusote was posted to the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, Ejele was deployed to the Federal Ministry of Communications.
Alhaji Abdullahi Abdulazeez Mashi was redeployed from the Federal Ministry of Communications to the Federal Ministry of Health.
The Director, Communications, Office of Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHoCSF), Mrs. Olawunmi Ogunmosunle, said the handing/taking-over processes should be completed on or before Friday, July 6, 2018.
