Late Agom Adara for burial today

The paramount ruler of Adara land in Kaduna State, Agom Adara, Dr. Maiwada Raphael Galadima, who was abducted and killed by gunmen late last month, will be buried today.

The National President of Adara Developmen­t Associatio­n (ADA), Awemi Dio Maisamari said in a statement on behalf of the funeral

The Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has assured that the new internatio­nal terminal of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Internatio­nal Airport, Abuja would be commission­ed in the next four weeks.

The project is being handled by the China Civil Engineerin­g and Constructi­on Company (CCECC) publicity committee that the remains of the late Galadima will be buried in Kachia, Kachia LGA.

“We are once more reminded to make the occasion a peaceful, solemn and sober experience in as part of a $500m concession­al loan from China EXIM Bank.

Speaking at the 5th aviation stakeholde­rs’ forum in Abuja Thursday, he said work had reached an advanced stage, adding that the ministry was working seriously with the constructi­on company to ensure other terminals were ready for operation soon.

Just as the good that noble men do live after them, so shall it be with our late royal father. Amen,” the statement said. It would be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari penultimat­e week inaugurate­d the new internatio­nal terminal of the Port Harcourt Airport in Omagwa, Rivers State.

Sirika said the ones in Lagos, Kano and Enugu were also at advanced stages of completion too.
