Story, Story... LEADER CONTEST
Members of the human body met in to choose a leader in a contest. Each member introduced himself to explain the role he played in the entire human body.
The head told other members of the body, “I want to be the leader because I am the head of the body. I have intelligence and wisdom!” Other members of the body told the head, “We know you are the head and intelligent but you have ringworms and lice and you don t deserve to be our leader.”
The hand said,“I want to be the leader because I am the power seat. When I am angry, I can defend the human body by giving a blow.” The members said you, cannot be our leader because you slap people.
The eyes spoke up, “I make it possible for people to see the light of the day and read.” The members replied your eyes leads you to steal, to be jealous, you cannot be a leader.
The foot said,“If I become your leader, I would gladly move you around,” the members said, you kick people and hide in shoes, and you cannot be our leader. The mouth quickly rushed to say “Make me your leader, I will speak for you.” The members said you do not have self-control, you insult people, accuse falsely, you can never be our leader.
The members rejected the stomach, ears, neck and every other part of the body at the contest. Just before feasting time, Mr. Anus said please, make me your leader. They all screamed, we can never! There is nothing good about you; we cannot stand the smell you emit. Mr. Anus got angry and left. Other parts of the body made merry and ate. After one day, the stomach was bloated. This affected other parts of the body.
The members decided to seek Mr. Anus, they echoed, “we came to hand over power to you, we need to be free.” Anus accepted the offer. He pressed the rst button, the body let out some gas. The members replied, we feel better. Mr. Anus pressed the second button, and was able to empty the bowel. They all felt comfortable and happy.
Moral: All members of the body are very important and each member plays an important role no matter how small or neglected. Every member of the society is also important. Always show deep respect for your family members, schoolmates, neighbours, cleaners, or poor families.
