We must save LGs from middlemen – Dogara

The local government is the worst tier of government in Nigeria. They can’t pay their members of staff, and there are many irregularities going on there. Keep it up, Dogara; no going back on local government autonomy.

Yes. And you have done justice to Nigeria’s democracy. Please speed up without delay. We welcome this development there’s the will to do it. if

If you achieve autonomy for local governments you would set an unprecedented record. Dogara, we need action to actualise this. Please, do something before it is too late. Also, save workers from middlemen.

Practise what you preach. There was a time President Muhammadu Buhari promised to cancel joint accounts, but unfortunately, he has not been able to do it.

It’s just unfortunate that some of those middlemen are your neigbhours in the National Assembly. They also determine what happens in our local government areas.

That’s a very good move. If you save local governments from the middlemen you would be named man of the year.

First, the Federal Government must allow states to manage their resources and send certain percentage to her, just as states should allow local governments to manage theirs.
