Iam a fan of the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi 11, but the truth is that he was going beyond his bounds. We are in an organised society and there are ways through which things are done. The emir has several channels through which he can offer advice. I urge him to continue speaking the truth, but through the right channels.

It is unfortunate that an investigation was ordered following the emir’s statement in Kaduna. It is even more unfortunate that he almost lost his throne over it.

I know a lot of people are commending the emir for speaking the truth. But my question is; of what use is that truth when he rides in limousines while many of his subjects roam the streets, begging? I urge him to work with the state government towards improving the lives of the people.

My problem with the masses of Nigeria is their inability to differentiate between truth and deception. I am a fan of Emir Sanusi. He is indeed a man of courage. But what has he done personally to change the situation he is complaining about? I urge him to come up with a social programme and will be handled by the emirate council to assist the masses.

Nafiu Maharazu Tsiga There is a difference between a politician and a traditional ruler. The relevant people should explain to the emir, what the position entails so that he does not make mistakes.

I urge the emir to work in harmony with the governor for peace in Kano State.

I am glad that the issue has been settled. May Allah forgive us all and unite us and may He reward those who brokered the peace.

That is a good development. But I urge those in position of authority to be open to corrections.

I commend the governors for intervening and settling the matter.

That is a good development. Now, I urge all those who were bent on fuelling the crisis to sheath their swords.

I am not happy with this development. Now, what will happen to the probe that was instituted? They should have waited for the committee to conclude its job. That is good. Islam enjoins us to be patient and forgiving.

We are with you, Emir Sanusi. I don’t know why people prefer those who see evil and keep quiet.

Whether peace is brokered or not, it will be tough for Governor Ganduje to secure a second term.

It is good that the governors brokered peace. But the emir should not have ridiculed his state governor in public.

I know that no matter what people say; they cannot intimidate the emir. The truth is always biter. I am with the emir.

I commend the governors for handling the matter the way they did. God bless them.

I know that the investigation of the emirate council was due to the statements by the emir. It is unfortunate that they went after the emir because he spoke the truth.

I urge Emir Sanusi to remain truthful and he will succeed on his throne.

Apart from brokering peace, did they instruct relevant people to guide the emir on how to manage the throne?

The move is okay, but the governors should have allowed the committee investigating the emirate council to conclude its job before intervening in the matter.
