Why is he saying that now? He worked for the re-election of the Goodluck Jonathan-led PDP. I really don’t think he is the position to be saying this now. It is a bit too late.

I am not surprised at all that this statement is coming from a PDP chieftain; it is an indication that God is working for the masses.

Is there any administration that can work for the poor in Nigeria? The masses are really suffering and something needs to be done about that.

When he noticed that the PDP wasn’t serving the poor; what did he do about it? I don’t think he should be saying this. It is too late.

What I expect from Dr. Doyin Okupe is an apology to Nigerians, because he is a member of the party that he claims did not serve the poor.

I agree that the PDP didn’t serve the poor, but the APC is bent on totally destroying the poor. The poor is suffering untold hardship under this administration. The cost of living is very high and the money is not available. We are also battling robbery and herdsmen attack.

Yes, it is true that the PDP did not serve Nigerians. In fact, the party laid the foundation for the recession due to looting by public officers.

I don’t know which is better, because the APC is not doing any better.

Why is he saying that; is he no longer a member of the PDP?

That is the truth; unfortunately, the PDP will not admit it.

From this interview, I can see that in politics, there is neither permanent friend nor permanent foe, only permanent interest.

This is just the beginning; other members of the PDP will come out and confess what they did to the Nigerian masses.

What Okupe said is not new. We suffered a lot under the PDP. I pray Nigeria never gets back to that position ever again.

If what is happening now under the APC is considered “serving the poor” then Nigeria has a long way to go.

I can’t believe that such a statement can come from a man who used to be a defender of the PDP. May God protect us. I don’t agree. The PDP did its best for the country. Well said, Dr. Okupe.

I am glad that we now have in place, a party that cares about the masses.

The PDP members knew the truth but refused to admit it. But why wait till this moment to say this, Dr. Okupe?

Dr. Okupe has spoken the truth.

Aliyu Ahmed Girei Is the APC serving the poor? Now I agree that the PDP is dead and buried. Even the APC is not serving the poor. May God deliver us. The truth coming out. is gradually

More revelations will be made soon, with the way things are going.

Yes, he is right. That is why we voted out the party in the last election.

My question to Dr. Okupe is; why didn’t he speak to his party members when they were still in power?

There is nothing new here. We know that the PDP did not serve the poor, but a select few.
