Going for a gluten free diet may be a good choice for those more prone to diabetes or for purposes of losing weight and other health related reasons. These a few reasons why you should consider going for a gluten free lifestyle.

It is difficult to digest gluten: Your body actually has difficulty fully digesting grains like wheat and those the undigested portions ferment and cause gas leaving you with a lot of burping and farting too.

Some carbs are pro

inflammato­ry: The pro inflammato­ry agent quickly converts carbs into sugar which causes a boost in the levels of insulin in your body. This can be bad for those with genes of diabetes and a way trigger it.

Leaky gut syndrome: This condition is whereby substances that are meant to be in your gut make its way to your bloodstrea­m introducin­g toxins that shouldn’t be there.

The carbs from gluten has

little nutritiona­l value: Contrary to popular belief, wheat we eat is actually not very nutritiona­l because it is refined. Refined wheat has little nutritiona­l value and it is only good when you need a substitute to other cabs like flour and rice. Basically it’s overrated. You might be allergic to gluten: A lot of people are allergic to gluten so its suggested you visit a nutritioni­st to know before it is too late.
