Iam happy that the former president is leading the charge. I urge the PDP to get its act together so that it will be able to defeat the APC in 2019. The APC has indeed disappointed Nigerians.

For us to take Jonathan and the PDP seriously, the looted funds must be returned.

I think it is a good thing that the PDP is getting its act together, but I don’t think Jonathan is the right person to lead it.

No matter what the PDP does, the APC will win the general elections in 2019. All I can say is that there is no vacancy in Aso Rock. I am surprised that the PDP thinks it can still rule the country; is it because of the Supreme Court ruling? It will be shocked in 2019 if it goes ahead to field candidates for positions. In fact, 2019 will be the end of the PDP.

Former president Goodluck Jonathan is a nationalist any day. History will always remember him as the president who saw the entire country as his constituency. Life was so much better under Jonathan, so I am glad that he is planning to lead the PDP to victory in 2019.

I am surprised that Nigerians are even thinking about the PDP, after all that they did to the country. It is true that Nigerians forget very quickly indeed. We are supposed to be scared at the mention of Jonathan or the PDP.

Does the former president think that people have forgotten the corruption, killings and gross marginalization of during his tenure?

Salisu Abubakar the North

I agree that Jonathan made mistakes but we must also agree that the current president and his administration aren’t better.

Prof Benji Okudili

I think the PDP is just being ambitious, because there is no way it can defeat the APC. Must it be Jonathan? Doesn’t the PDP have any other candidate?

Never will the PDP rule us again. We are yet to recover from the problems they caused us and they want to come back? There is no way we will allow that to happen.

My take on all these is that; the old people should give way for the younger generation.
