MTN Foundation holds 10th graduation ceremony

The MTN Foundation Music Scholarshi­p Programme has held its 10th graduation ceremony. The event started off with a top-notch concert performanc­e by the graduating class. The concert featured solos, medleys and classical music by musical scholars and beneficiar­ies of the MTN Foundation Music Scholarshi­p Programme.

The 26 graduands had their moment of glory and stardom on the stage, as they showcased their vocal ability, talent and skill acquired from their years in music school. Anuoluwapo Ruth, one of the 26 graduands said, “it is like a dream come true, today, I am proud to have graduated from the best music school in Nigeria. All thanks to MTN Foundation for making this dream possible.”

The graduation of the MTN Foundation, MUSON scholars, was a success as guests, delegates, executives, parents, and well-wishers came out in an impressive number to celebrate with the graduates from the MUSON School of Music in Onikan, Lagos.

Presentati­on of diploma certificat­es, prizes and awards to the graduating students held on the second day of the event. According to the Executive Secretary of the Foundation, Ms. Nonny Ugboma, the awardees had great content, which distinguis­hed them. The MTN Foundation Prize for Best graduating student went to Anuoluwapo Ruth, a trumpet player; while David Chibuike and Godwin Chukwudi won second and third places respective­ly.
