Osinbajo reshuffles perm secs

Acting President Yemi Osinbanjo has approved the redeployme­nt of 24 Federal Permanent Secretarie­s. This is contained in a circular signed by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita.

The Assistant Director (Media) in the OHCSF Mohammed Manga in a statement last Friday said that the processes for handing and taking over should be completed on or before Friday August 25, 2017 except for deployment­s with specific taking over or assumption of duty dates.

While 15 of the new appointees were earlier assigned portfolios, the remaining nine were redeployed.

Those redeployed were Folsade O. Yemi-Esan from Career Management Office (OHCSF) to Petroleum Resources, Engr Magaji A.G. from Interior to Niger Delta, Dr Shamaki, A.A.B., from Special Duties Office (OSGF -Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation) to Science and Technology (to take-over on October 1, 2017) Echono, Sunday S. Togo from Communicat­ions to Education, Aminu Aliyu Bisalla from Industry, Trade and Investment to General Service Office-OSGF (to take-over on October 1, 2017), Ohaa Chinyeaka Christian from Common Services Office (OHCSF) to Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nuratu Batagarawa from Service Policy and Strategies Office (OHCSF) to Defence (to take-over on October 1, 2017), William Nwankwo Alo from Political Affairs Office (OSGF) to Special Duties OfficeOSGF (to take-over on October 1, 2017) and Bamgbose, Olukunle A. from Political Affairs Office (OSGF) to Foreign Affairs.
