ONLINE Time to tell Kanu the truth

- Mishel Ballack Alh Aliyu Dan Auta Zulkiflih Alhassan Husaini Urag Best Osebor Michael Okolo Zubairu Saidu

What annoys me is that people are here dying while the man at the heart of the matter is nowhere to be found. His wife and children are also abroad. I pray that God helps us in Jesus name.

I am sure that Nnamdi Kanu is now regretting his actions. Let the military continue its operation in the region.

Indeed, it is time to tell the IPOB leader the truth. But where were the Igbo leaders when Kanu was going about insulting other tribes and threatening fire and brimstone? They should have spoken up earlier.

People of the South-East should not allow a man who has nothing to lose to come here and push them into problems. Igbo people have assets spread across the country, if war starts, what will happen to those things? They should be wise.

If only the youths can invest the same energy they are putting into the Biafra cause into the development of the country, Nigeria will indeed be a great nation.

Kanu knows that he cannot hold the country to ransom, but he is deceiving his people.

The military has the constitutional duty to protect the State from collapse. This is not the first time the Army is launching something like Operation Python Dance. Other operations were also launched in other parts of the country without any problem. The current operation in the South-East, is in response to the security threat in the region. However, we call on the Army to ensure that its activities are within the brackets of civilised rules of engagement so that innocent civilians do not become victims of their operations.
