‘Sardauna often woke up koboless’

These were the bona fide leaders of those days, the leaders that came into politics to serve and not to be served, to give but not to take, the leaders who played politics without bitterness, the leaders that had pure and clean minds, the leaders that set aside tribal, religious and political differences when it came to national service.

Alas! Today, things have fallen apart, today things are proving difficult, today we have more pathological liars in leadership than true ones. May God come to the rescue of my dear country. Ameen.

Sardauna will forever be remembered. Let history be taught in our schools and it should be a compulsory subject. The problem with betrayal is that it comes from those who you love and help.

Sir, Northern Nigeria is still at the level you left it, most innovations you started have been destroyed.

Joseph Kings Riches is not counted in naira and kobo. He was rich, by God, and richly blessed people. May Allah bless his soul.

Those that executed them never knew until after when the deed had been done. And there’s no way to redress the wrong.

That was the system, people worked for the public with only delivery in mind. The system has gradually changed and is still changing. There’s nobody in high position of public office that isn’t at least in luxury. Sardauna and co were leaders that had passion for their people. This is the difference between him and leaders of today because they even sell what he built. They are the real leaders Nigeria misses.

How many contemporary leaders in the northern part of Nigeria have at least one attribute of the Sardauna of Sokoto? May God reward Sir Ahmadu Bello (Sardauna) with paradise. He was honest and just: Gamji dan Kwarai. The great icon of blessed memory, really miss him. Sardauna has always been a reference point. Wondering why politicians do not emulate him.

Please help us inform our contemporary politicians that the essence of joining politics is not to loot the treasury. They are the cause of Nigeria’s retarded growth and God is watching and will deliver appropriate punishment at the right time. That’s a leader with the fear of Allah, May his gentle soul rest in perfect and everlasting peace.

Yes, it is not surprising because he was not there for money, his sacrifices for this country are unforgettable, May Allah reward him with Aljannatul Firdausi. This is what I call true leadership. May this selfless Nigerian continue to dwell in Aljannatul Firdausi. What a great man. I am happy to see this man’s picture, a good leader with all the qualities of leadership. Their memories linger. The Sardauna of those days is not the Sardauna of today. Men of purpose are men of focus, may Allah comfort their soul in Aljannatul Firdausi. They were great men. A selfless leader. May his soul continue to rest in peace.
