The killings are indeed getting out of hand and urgent action should be taken to tackle it. The situation cannot be allowed to continue like this. Security agents at all levels should rise to the occasion.

If you interview the locals you will be surprised to hear how the bandits rule the remote villages. They impose heavy fines, kill at will and move about freely with their weapons. They only make headlines when they carry out attacks but in deep rural Zamfara, the bandits are in charge. Despite the fact that they have denied their involvement in the act, the matter should be properly investigated.

Residents of that area should have taken photographs of what happened.

Jonathan I knew that they will deny the incident.

I think the Inspector General of Police needs to sit up. There are clashes across the country and nothing tangible is being done about them. Nigeria is boiling under his watch and if he doesn’t act now, posterity will judge him.

What about the killings in other parts of the country? Why is the IGP not travelling to those areas and commenting about them? They also need attention.

I am surprised that the IGP is saying this. What does he expect civilians to say or do?

The Inspector General of Police should resign. Admitting that the problem is getting out of hand is an admission of failure. Benue killings are also getting out of hand. Act now.

The police should contain the situation immediately. We don’t want to know whether it is getting out of hand or not. The current police leadership should be changed. We need action on the security situation in the country.

The IGP needs to be replaced immediately. We have never had it this bad in the country. The spate of attacks is alarming.

It is only in Nigeria, that you will hear this type of statement. How can the Inspector General of Police say such? It is indeed disappointing. If the current IGP cannot tackle the situation, he should resign. I don’t think Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has anything to offer. I hope the meetings yield result. The APC is in trouble.

I am glad that the reconciliation process has commenced. The APC has a lot of work to do ahead of the general elections.

Tinubu is unpredictable; he could use this as an opportunity to pay Buhari back for the way he was treated after the APC won the election.

After he settles the crises, the cabal in the party will gang up against him.

The IGP should relocate to Zamfara State and ensure that the problem is tackled before he returns to Abuja.

The federal Government should declare a state of emergency in Zamfara State.

That is the same situation we have in Taraba and Benue State; so much killings. We should stop paying lip service to the situation and take action.

That’s a progressive meeting. Something good will definitely come out of it. Who would reconcile Oyegun and Tinubu? This is good. Tinubu discharging his duty diligently. is

I am surprised that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu agreed to be used by the party again. Carry on, Sir. The Lord will crown your efforts with success. That is the political strategist. I hail you, Sir.
