ONLINE Military colluding with armed bandits – TY Danjuma

Iam surprised the elder statesman will make such a statement. At the moment, Americans are calling for gun control, why should we be seeking the opposite? People cannot defend themselves if they are not armed. We must approach this matter with caution. Danjuma’s family be part of those that will fight if crisis erupts? Let us all be wise. bringing sentiments into national discourse. We must look at issues objectively.

This is nothing but the truth. Sir, keep speaking the truth. We need to face reality for once.

A statesman should not make this type of statement. It is capable of inciting the public. This is a very weighty allegation from a former Minister of Defence.

I am not surprised by this statement. The Nigerian military today, acts as if it is a wing of the APC.

I urge the government to analyse the statement carefully so that it can take necessary action.

The retired General has military protection, yet he is calling on the masses to defend themselves. I really don’t understand it.

He only said, defend yourselves. He did not ask anyone to take up arms against the government. Selfdefence is not a crime. So I don’t think the controversy surrounding the statement is necessary.

The military authorities have many questions to answer. I know that things are not going well and it is better for the military to accept what the retired General said so that it can address the issues. The statement witnessed it. is true. I
