Staying well groomed and in a top shape is essential as a man. This is because as man you should dominate wherever you step into with your best foot forwards. And the only way you can do that is if you take an ample amount of time to take care of yourself. That way, you will look well groomed, presentabl­e and neat. Here are a few tips to observe to make sure you stay on top of your game.

Shave after cleansing: Neglecting this step may be one you will greatly regret. Little do guys know that the major cause of bumps after shaving is from ingrown hair. But what causes it – trapped dirt, dead skin cells and oil within your hair follicles. Cleansing gets rid of all that, so that once you come to shave, your skin will be squeaky clean.

Change scents with season: With temperatur­e changes as the seasons change, it also has an impact on how you smell as well. That’s why, during cold weather, go for heavy and musky scents. But during hotter weather, lighter scent notes should be your go to. That way, you don’t overwhelm those around you.

Go for regular manicures and pedicures: People can easily draw assumption­s on the type of person you are by simply looking at your hands and feet. Oral hygiene is key: The secret behind a golden smile is proper oral hygiene. How your teeth look is almost as equally important as how your breath smells. We all know that bad breath is an instant turnoff. Therefore, proper brushing (including your tongue), regular flossing in between your teeth and rinsing it with a good mouthwash will greatly benefit your oral health. Regular visits to the dentist will also make a huge difference.
