I AM ALWAYS ASKING MYSELF IF MY ACTIONS TODAY ADD UP TO WHERE I WANT TO BE IN 10 YEARS.

would be one that collects information from privileged schools and shares with schools in villages. But I told him that they didn’t have iPads and he said he would write to the UNICEF and other organisations to provide iPads for them so that every child can get a great future and equal opportunities. My 19-year-old son has two online businesses. He launched a store in Canada and reviews products on Instagram. Somehow, all of them have been able to identify their spaces as individuals.

Do you still practice law?

Not anymore. This is my new passion. But everything I do still has the legal undertone. That’s why I’m able to break down processes. When we put up our technology innovation hub, smart ideas that will be able to proffer solutions, export and preserve products will be worked on. I love secret garden and secret journey. First app you check in the morning/bedtime WhatsApp and Facebook. On WhatsApp I get all the dailies. I used to go to the CNN to check, but now I just got those platforms because I interact with a lot of people through Facebook. Many people don’t have my phone number, so I use the inbox on Facebook to communicate with people. Favourite fashion item I don’t think I’m that fashionable. I just like being comfortable in my style. I don’t follow trends and I’m very okay in repeating clothes. The older the clothes, the more comfortable it is. I have a very lean wardrobe and I am very comfortable with my clothes. What you won’t be caught wearing I can wear almost anything; it depends on the environment. I’ve always had this argument that in Nigeria we have forgotten our traditional mode of dressing. We now imbibe a lot of the Arab clothing or that of the West. The typical Fulani woman dresses like you today, but their attires are actually very provocative, with their tummies out. And it is peculiar with almost all Nigerians. We are in Africa; the woman shows her body out. If she’s going to cover it, it should be minimally. All this covering is a borrowed culture. But I won’t wear anything indecent. Best relaxation spot My best interactive times are in local communities. Three days ago, I was in Warri and did a lot of local tours, which let me see the beauty of Nigeria in its raw form. But I love Europe because of the nature, clean air and beautiful landscape. I always think how I can help Nigeria to become as beautiful as that. As much as Nigerians love to travel abroad to appreciate the beauty there, how can we build our country so that Europeans would be coming here during summer too. It is happening in Kenya and it has become a spot for weddings. Ghana is a spot for retreats, so is South Africa.

I love Nigeria. The country home I’m about to build now is in Hima, on a hill.
