DIY body scrubs for glowing skin

With a few simple ingredient­s from your kitchen, you can create your own DIY body scrubs that exfoliate, hydrate, and revitalize your skin, leaving you with a radiant glow. Let’s explore some fantastic recipes for these homemade beauty treatments. 1. Citrus Zest Sugar Scrub: 1 cup granulated sugar Zest of 1 lemon

Zest of 1 orange

1/4 cup olive oil or coconut oil

10-15 drops of your favourite citrus essential oil (like orange or lemon)

Instructio­ns

• Mix the sugar and citrus zests in a bowl.

• Add the olive or coconut oil and essential oil.

• Stir until the ingredient­s are well combined.

• Apply in the shower by gently massaging the scrub onto damp skin in circular motions.

• Rinse thoroughly for refreshed and rejuvenate­d skin. The sugar exfoliates while the citrus brightens and the oil moisturize­s.

2. Oatmeal and honey scrub

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup plain yogurt

Instructio­ns

• Pulse the oats in a blender to create a fine powder.

• Mix the powdered oats, honey, and yogurt in a bowl to form a paste.

• Apply this mixture to your skin and gently scrub in circular motions.

1/2 cup used coffee grounds 1/4 cup coconut oil

• Mix well to form a scrub.

2 green tea bags

1 cup granulated sugar 1/4 cup coconut oil 10 drops of essential oil (such as lavender or mint)

• Open the green tea bags and combine the tea leaves with sugar in a bowl.

• Add coconut oil and essential oil, mixing until well combined.

• Use this scrub to exfoliate your skin while enjoying the soothing aroma of green tea.

• Rinse off for a refreshed glow. Green tea offers antioxidan­ts, sugar exfoliates, and coconut oil hydrates.

5. Himalayan Pink Salt Scrub

1 cup Himalayan pink salt 1/4 cup sweet almond oil 10 drops of your favourite essential oil (e.g., lavender, eucalyptus)

Instructio­ns

• Combine the salt and almond oil in a bowl.

• Add your chosen essential oil for fragrance and added benefits.

• Mix until you have a thick paste.

• Apply in the shower, massaging gently to exfoliate the skin.

• Rinse thoroughly to reveal a glowing complexion. Himalayan salt exfoliates and detoxifies, while almond oil nourishes and softens.
