I remain loyal to PDP - Suspended Bauchi lawmaker

Suspended Bauchi female lawmaker, Mrs Rifkatu Samson Danna, yesterday met with officials of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi and assured them she will not leave the party despite her travails.

Mrs Danna told the PDP leaders that she visited them to reaffirm her support and loyalty to the party.

She appealed to the party’s leadership saying as ‘parents’ they should continue to be patient and guide their children to do the right thing.

Mrs Danna said even though she is on the rough road but she took all that had happened to her as an act of God and assured that she will not leave PDP no matter what happened. She appealed to the party to give Women their 35 percent share in elective positions in 2015.

Chairman PDP Bauchi South Senatorial District, Alhaji Salisu Yau Nabordo assured her of the support of the party and expressed happiness on the visit.
