Gadzama holds public lecture Thursday

Arrangements have been concluded for the 7th annual public lecture of J-K Gadzama LLP slated for Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Abuja, with the theme ‘Money Laundering and Financial Crime: Problems of International Enforcement.’

A statement by the organisers said the guest lecturer is Mr. Alun Jones QC of Great James Street Chambers, London, United Kingdom, a specialist in commercial crime, extradition, mutual legal assistance, crime, judicial review and asset confiscation, while Barr. Ekpo Nta, Chairman, Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) is expected to chair the public lecture.

It said special guests at this event include Hon. Justice M. L. Uwais, GCON (former Chief Justice of Nigeria), Hon. Justice S. M. A Belgore, GCON (former Chief Justice of Nigeria), Hon. Justice Ibrahim Auta, OFR (Chief Judge, Federal High Court Abuja), Hon. Justice I. M Bukar (Chief Judge, F.C.T) and Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde, Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
