Pension: Dakingari warns board against recklessness
Governor Saidu Dakingari of Kebbi State has warned members of the state Contributory Pension Board not to engage in any financial recklessness or non remittance of monies contributed by employees.
The governor stated this while inspecting the new office accommodation provided for the pension staff over the weekend in Birnin Kebbi.
“The pension board should rather work hard in the discharge of their duty diligently for the interest of the people in the state and should not engage in any financial recklessness or non-remittance of monies being contributed by employees.
“The staff should be honest and fair whenever they are discharging their duties,” he said.
The governor also disclosed the approval of the deduction of 15 percent as contributory pension for state, local government and UBE employees.
