Briefs Senator Gamawa loses father

The father of Senator Babayo Garba Gamawa, Alhaji Garba Shu’aibu, died yesterday at the age of 84, Media aide to the senator, Isa Garba, said in a statement that Alhaji Garba died after a prolonged illness. He left behind one wife and nine children, among them is former deputy governor of Bauchi State and Alhaji Danlami Garba, Permanent Secretary in the state Ministry of Works. The deceased has been buried according to Islamic rites.
