Some of us still remember exactly the words General Muhammadu Buhari used when he was addressing the large crowd of supporters before the April 2011 election. He said, and I quote: “You should never leave polling centers until votes are counted and the winner declared and you should lynch anybody that tries to tinker with the votes”.
