The Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Mr. Peter Yohanna Ushafa, has called on the Christians to always live harmoniously with their neighbours in the interest of peaceful co-existence.

The chairman, who made the call in his Easter message to them and the entire residents of the council, also urged Christians to always live in the spirit of the Easter celebrations.

Ushafa urged them to use the occasion for sober reflection and imbibe the spirit of forgiveness, sacrifice and tolerant as exemplified by the Jesus Christ.

While calling on the residents of the area to be watchful and be security conscious during and after the celebration, the chairman cautioned them against excessive celebrations.

He called on the security agents in the area to continue to beef up security in all the nooks and crannies of the area council during and after the celebration and wished the Christians hitch-free celebrations.

Meanwhile, the chairman has commiserated with the victims of Monday bomb blast at Nyanya, a suburb of Abuja, describing the incident as very unfortunate.

Ushafa prayed for the repose of those that lost their lives in the incident and the quick recovery of the injured ones.
