Mantrac tasks en­gi­neers

Mantrac Nigeria Limited, the sole au­tho­rized dealer for Cater­pil­lar Prod­ucts in Nigeria has called on road con­struc­tion en­gi­neers to part­ner with the or­ga­ni­za­tion and its vi­sion for qual­ity and durable road con­struc­tion in Nigeria with low cost of oper­a­tion.

Mr Karim Sami, Pav­ing and Forestry Seg­ment Man­ager of the Com­pany stated this dur­ing a one-day sem­i­nar or­gan­ised by the com­pany in Port Har­court to ed­u­cate cus­tomers about the dura­bil­ity of their equip­ment.

En­light­en­ing the par­tic­i­pants on the ar­ray of road con­struc­tion equip­ment in the com­pany’s stock, Sami said it has be­come nec­es­sary to make pub­lic some of these equip­ment to sat­isfy the ex­pec­ta­tions of con­struc­tion en­gi­neers and cus­tomers gen­er­ally.

He said the essence of the sem­i­nar is to bring all their cus­tomers in the east­ern zone to­gether, to in­ti­mate them on the im­por­tance of qual­ity prod­ucts that will en­hance their pro­duc­tiv­ity thereby leading to qual­ity and durable roads in Nigeria.

“We’re here to­day to show­case our ma­chines and in­tro­duce ef­fi­cient ways of road con­struc­tion at lower op­er­at­ing cost,” he ex­plained.

Mr Alex Nwoko, Head of Ma­chine Sales in Mantrac Nigeria Limited said apart from in­tro­duc­ing the cus­tomers to the equip­ment, the sem­i­nar has en­abled them to ex­press their feel­ings es­pe­cially on the area of prod­uct and ser­vices and how it en­hances the end re­sult.

Some of the cus­tomers who spoke at the sem­i­nar ex­pressed sat­is­fac­tion with the com­pany and its ma­chines be­liev­ing that it will in­crease their con­fi­dence in qual­ity ser­vice de­liv­ery.

Mrs Enoh Chidi, one of the par­tic­i­pants said, “The sem­i­nar has im­parted greatly on us - at least we were able to as­sess the com­pany based on our past re­la­tion­ship with them.”
