Be focused, Sultan urges Miyetti Allah
The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, has called on the newly inaugurated national executives of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) to eschew rivalry and work hard to address the challenges affecting members of the association.
In a statement signed by National Secretary General of the association, AlhajiBaba Othman Ngelzarma, the Sultan while inaugurating the executives said the challenges ahead of cattle breeders in Nigeria were enormous, adding that only good leadership would see them through.
In his response, the newly inaugurated national president of the group, Muhammad Kirowa, assured that they will work to justify the confidence reposed in them. Kirowa added that the step taken by some state governments to provide grazing reserves and stock routes was apt as it would help in fostering peaceful co-existence between farmers and cattle rearers.
