Be security conscious, Wamakko urges traditional rulers

Governor Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto State yesterday called on traditional rulers in the country to be more security conscious.

He gave the advice when he received newly turbaned district heads from Wamakko Local Government Area of the state.

He stressed the need for traditional rulers to report suspicious persons/ activities in their domains to the appropriate authorities for necessary action.

The governor urged traditional rulers to treat their subjects equally irrespective of their differences.

Earlier, Chairman of Wamakko Local Government Area, Alhaji Abdullahi Kalambaina, who led the district heads on the visit to the governor said they were at the Government House to express appreciation for the appointment. He said their appointments will bring more development to the area and state.
