Ondo speaker for burial Friday
The Ondo State House of Assembly said yesterday that it has concluded arrangements for the burial of the late speaker, Samuel Adesina.
Adesina, who represented Odigbo II state constituency at the Assembly, died in February this year in a hospital in Lagos State during a protracted illness.
Addressing journalists, Chairman, House Committee on Information and Orientation, Oyebo Aladetan, said the House will give the late speaker a befitting burial.
He said various committees and sub-committees have been set up to organize the programme which kicks off today (Wednesday).
He added that the former speaker would be celebrated because of his contributions to the peaceful co-existence of the people, he represented and the state in general as well as the monumental projects that were executed during his tenure as leader of the Assembly.
