Kebbi names school after gov’s wife
The Government Girls Secondary School, Kamba in Kebbi State has been named after the wife of the state governor, Hajiya Asma’u Saidu Dakingari.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari, said the governor’s wife received a letter from the Ministry of Education signed by the commissioner, Alh. Sama’ila Abdulmumini Kamba, of the development.
He said while thanking the ministry for the honour, the governor’s wife re-affirmed her commitment to support educational development. She advised parents and guardians to enrol their children and wards in school to obtain Islamic and Western education.
