Coach Lato will be missed - Aminu

Kaduna United midfielder Isah Aminu has described the death of the team’s manager Saleh Lato as shocking.

The experienced gaffer died

last Sunday at the Ibrahim Sani Abacha hospital, Kaduna, after just a day of illness.

“It was just sudden, he only complained of malaria in the morning and by evening the news broke that he was no more, he was a good man and experienced coach and we will miss him immensely” the player said in a telephone interview.

Lato will always be remembered by Kaduna United faithful as he was part of the technical crew that won the 2010 Federation Cup, beating Enyimba 3-2.

United will be battling to get their season back on track after week seven away loss to Crown FC which leaves the team languishing in 17th position in the Nigeria Premier League.
