I am battle ready for 2016 –Dickson

- From Chris Eze, Yenagoa

Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson has said that no gang up by any group or individual can thwart his ambition of seeking re-election in 2016.

The governor, who spoke in Yenagoa, while at the monthly “Transparency Briefing”, said he has all it takes to take on any opposition.

He stressed that he is not new to the struggle for power, adding that he had challenged a sitting government in the past and won.

Dickson who advised those warming up for political activities in the state in 2016, not to dissipate their energies yet, said efforts should be geared towards getting a re-election for President Jonathan.

“We need to put our house in order. The rest of the country should not see a divided Bayelsa. That is what we owe our leader. It is unfortunate that those who should encourage the unity are leading a misguided political adventure. In this business, we are tested warriors. I want to call those who are dancing too early to be patient, and rather practice their dance steps in their bedrooms. I know what to do when the time comes,” Dickson said.
