Sokoto LG donates vehicle to NSCDC

Silame Local Government Area of Sokoto State yesterday donated an 18-seater bus to the Nigeria Security Civil and Defence Corps ( NSCDC) in a bid to boost its activities. Chairman of the local government, Alhaji Mani Katami, said the gesture was aimed at ensuring the security of lives and property. He described the task of ensuring security as a collective one, adding that the council has set up security committees in all the 11 wards of the local government.
