Five Nigerian university students have been arrested by the Ghana’s State Security Service (SSS) over the killing of a fellow Nigerian student, BBC Hausa radio reported yesterday.

Chukwudi Ayaogu’s corpse was found at a quarters near the Central Region’s university of Cape Coast, where the suspected students have been undergoing their studies.

Head of Ghanaian SSS, Prosper Agblor said Ayaogu’s body was discovered with several marks of knife stabs with an open stomach.

He said the security operatives discovered that one of the five suspects owed the deceased some money for a long time.

The Ghanaian SSS also said there was a girlfriend tussle between late Ayuogu and one of the students.

He added that the body of Ayaogu was taken to the quarters near the university from where the gang killed the fellow student.
