Unilorin law students honour Bola Ajibola

Law Students’ Society, University of Ilorin, has honoured Judge Bola Ajibola with an annual law journal popularly known as ‘The Jurist.’

Prince Ajibola, who was the former Judge of the Internatio­nal Court of Justice, at Hague, expressed his appreciati­on for the honour conferred on him by the students.

The event which held at the university’s main auditorium, also featured public lecture delivered by a human rights lawyer, Mr Bamidele Aturu.

Dignitarie­s that graced the occasion included the Vice Chancellor, Prof. AbdulGaniy­u Ambali, Judge Bola Ajibola, Hon. Justice Dahiru Musdapher, Chief Folake Solanke, SAN, Chief Sunday Adewusi, Mallam Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN, Dr. Oba Otudeko, Mr Bamidele Aturu, the Vice Chancellor, Crescent University, Abeokuta, Professor A. Okeleye, the Dean, Faculty of Law, Dr. I.A. Yusuf, Principal Officers, Deans and Directors of the University of Ilorin.

In his address, the President of Law Students, Mustapha Mubarak, thanked all and sundry for attending the occasion, attributin­g the success of the programme to the support of the ViceChance­llor and the entire management of the university.
