Unilorin law stu­dents hon­our Bola Aji­bola

Law Stu­dents’ So­ci­ety, Univer­sity of Ilorin, has hon­oured Judge Bola Aji­bola with an an­nual law jour­nal pop­u­larly known as ‘The Ju­rist.’

Prince Aji­bola, who was the for­mer Judge of the In­ter­na­tional Court of Jus­tice, at Hague, ex­pressed his ap­pre­ci­a­tion for the hon­our con­ferred on him by the stu­dents.

The event which held at the univer­sity’s main au­di­to­rium, also fea­tured pub­lic lec­ture de­liv­ered by a hu­man rights lawyer, Mr Bamidele Aturu.

Dig­ni­taries that graced the oc­ca­sion in­cluded the Vice Chan­cel­lor, Prof. Ab­dulGaniyu Am­bali, Judge Bola Aji­bola, Hon. Jus­tice Dahiru Mus­da­pher, Chief Fo­lake Solanke, SAN, Chief Sun­day Adewusi, Mal­lam Yusuf Olaolu Ali, SAN, Dr. Oba Otudeko, Mr Bamidele Aturu, the Vice Chan­cel­lor, Cres­cent Univer­sity, Abeokuta, Pro­fes­sor A. Okel­eye, the Dean, Fac­ulty of Law, Dr. I.A. Yusuf, Prin­ci­pal Of­fi­cers, Deans and Di­rec­tors of the Univer­sity of Ilorin.

In his ad­dress, the Pres­i­dent of Law Stu­dents, Mustapha Mubarak, thanked all and sundry for at­tend­ing the oc­ca­sion, at­tribut­ing the suc­cess of the pro­gramme to the sup­port of the ViceChan­cel­lor and the en­tire man­age­ment of the univer­sity.
