Primary and secondary schools in Kwara State yesterday resumed for the third term academic session with a warning to those who use school premises for parties and ceremonies to desist.

He said there was need to ensure a clean and conducive environment in schools.

Speaking with newsmen, the commissioner warned miscreants, hoodlums and thugs to refrain from going to school premises to carry out illegal activities.

He said the state government would take proper action against anybody found wanting in that regard.

Onimago, who expressed satisfaction with the turnout of students, said the ministry has sent teams to all schools to monitor the resumption.

He also charged teachers to live up to their responsibilities, warning that the state government would not tolerate laziness.
