Kogi partners, China coy, UN habitat on housing

Kogi State Governor Idris Wada said it is partnering China Hope Investment Group and the United Nation Habitat to construct houses for civil servants in the state.

Wada, who spoke yesterday, while receiving the China Hope Investment Group and the UN-Habitat team, said the project is a viable one.

He expressed the readiness of his administra­tion to embark on collaborat­ive ventures aimed at developing the state.

Earlier, chairman, China Hope Energy Investment Limited, He Bing and the managing director of the UN Habitat, Dr. Tee Ching Seng, said the main objective of the partnershi­p was to develop Kogi State.
