Kogi part­ners, China coy, UN habi­tat on hous­ing

Kogi State Gover­nor Idris Wada said it is part­ner­ing China Hope In­vest­ment Group and the United Na­tion Habi­tat to con­struct houses for civil ser­vants in the state.

Wada, who spoke yes­ter­day, while re­ceiv­ing the China Hope In­vest­ment Group and the UN-Habi­tat team, said the project is a vi­able one.

He ex­pressed the readi­ness of his ad­min­is­tra­tion to em­bark on col­lab­o­ra­tive ven­tures aimed at de­vel­op­ing the state.

Ear­lier, chair­man, China Hope En­ergy In­vest­ment Limited, He Bing and the man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of the UN Habi­tat, Dr. Tee Ching Seng, said the main ob­jec­tive of the part­ner­ship was to de­velop Kogi State.
