‘Abducted girls moved abroad’

-

Flying flags over some local governmentsinNigeriaandmarrying abducted girls without the parents’ consents seem to be the new ideology that someone wants to introduce. Theyreallywantapieceofmycountry! God save us.

Isaac

idingba2002@yahoo.com ************************** Nigeria, my only country, is in a sorry state. Imagine the action of our military formation in Bama as stated (in the story) who allowed these innocent girls to be carted away. There is need for the decentralization of our chain of command to enable the States’ Chief Security Officers have little power regarding security matters. Despite the fact that we were told our borders were closed and that monitoring will be intensified, look at what had just happened. My heart bleeds for these innocent girls.

Jungle

junglesly3494@ovi.com ************************** Someone should help me hold back tears over this kidnap incident of our beloved daughters. Sometimes I imagine if any of them had been my biological offspring, how would I feel? In fact, no national issue has ever touched me like this. Even the bombings have not touched me like this. My question now is, what are our security men really up to. Must these angels be allowed to filter into the world of evil men perpetually? Oh, God, where are you? Sadly, from this account, it means Boko Haram already has a territory within and around Nigeria firmly under their control; and without the presence of Nigeria security outfits to challenge them while moving about with their now ‘slave’ wives.

Samal

sobeko54@yahoo.com ************************** The Service Chiefs are also part of this movie. They are either tacitly supporting the Boko Haram or neglecting their responsibility so that the crisis will linger on, and they will keep enjoying the massive unaccounted money from this corruption-riddled government. Anytime their spokesperson Chris Olukolade speaks, Nigerians become less confident. Is it a strategy that the Army could not encircle the Sambisa forest and block any possible exit? Don’t we have enough manpower to man Sambisa and all routes connecting to Cameroon and Chad ? Only time will tell.

Comrade Bishir Dauda Katsina

unshakablecomrade@yahoo.com ************************** Nigeria is indeed in a “sorry state”. Imagine with all the outcries, the insurgents were able to carry those girls across to other countries. That means there is no collaborative effort to save the girls with the neighbouring countries. Also, imagine the insensitivity of the security agents on getting the hints on movement of the girls! I will say it again and again, that Nigerian authorities have failed us.

Rimayen Katsina

sirimayeh@yahoo.com ************************** General Chris Olukolade neither confirmed nor disputed the information that someone reported to the military.

Labaran N.

naallahlabaran@yahoo.com ************************** How do you marry off a woman without the consent of her parents or guardians? This is ridiculous and totally stupid. They have slaughtered students, burnt down schools, killed teachers and are now stealing girls; this is absurd. The first word that was revealed to the prophet was “read”, in an indefinite manner; that is, read anything, whatever it is, though, with preference of learning the basis of the religion before any other thing. In any way, our security agents need to do better in protecting our schools; it is their responsibility, especially at vulnerable places.

Usman

u.a.danbaba@gmail.com ************************** What a painful experience. It is better for one’s child to die a normal death than to be abducted by Boko Haram. I really sympathize with the parents of these innocent girls. This issue is supposed to be a national problem, and not Chibok community’s alone.

Abu

alhaslim@outlook.com ************************** I am becoming sick with this patheticcountry.IfNigeriahadwished to arrest the Chadian president, I am sure it would have done that in 24 hours. Why should these innocent girls suffer for no reason? There are lots of Muslims and lots of Christians among those girls. Why can’t we for onceunderstandthatthisgovernment isonlyservingthedevil.Mustitbeyour child before you react?

Imam

imamaliy@yahoo.com ************************** As for me, it’s not too early to start thinking of how to stop further reoccurrence of this sinful act of abduction. Evil in the name of religion by forcing school girls into sex slavery. The insurgents will have their place in hell fire unless they repent.

Quantum

ngezen@yahoo.com ************************** It is indeed sad that this is happening; too sad. It appears unbelievable. To start with, marriage like every undertaking in Islam is guided by rules. A marriage can only be validly consummated when these four conditions are met: (1) Presence & acceptance of Alwali (Bride’s father or his appointee (2) Witnesses (3) Seega (declaration of need for the marriage by the would-be groom or his Wakeel (father/representative/ appointee) AND acceptance of such offer by the Alwali and; (4) Sadaaq/mahr (bride price/dowry). The issues: Who were the Alwalis and witnesses? Is N2000 up to the minimum Sadaaq? Certainly not, as it is in the range of N8000 - 9000. Above all, who administered the Seega, certainly not the girls’ parents or/representative. Hence, if this actually happened, it is null and void and is therefore un-Islamic. A purported Islamic outfit knows this.
