The Prince Zango Production Nig. Ltd of popular Kannywood’s actor Adam Abdullahi Zango has completed the necessary preparations to start shooting N10m film titled ‘Madugu’.
The actor also known as Prince Zango disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Youthville on Monday.
He stated that the locations where the ‘Madugu’ will be filmed consist of Niger Republic, Southern Kaduna, Niger state and mountainous part of Cameroun Republic.
The actor who produced another enthralling and captivating action film titled ‘Gwaska’ that gulps N8m and was released on 13 September, 2015 also explained that storyline of the ‘Madugu’ is about conflict, war- period of armed fighting, and love and history.
“It has nearly similar plot to Hollywood’s films like Spartacus, Legend of the Seeker and Merlin. It is a fiction which depicts war in Northern Nigeria, but with additional costume that differs with the traditional attires used by the war warriors during war in the region.” He said.
Zango also narrated that 80% of the budget of the film will be spent on horses to be used, costumes, locations and transportation.
