The corpse of a man said to be father of 8 children was found close to his house in Gbazango Extension, Kubwa in Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Terrtory (FCT).

City News learnt that the deceased, simply identified as Musa, was discovered by neighbours behind an uncompleted building in the area.

One of the neighbours told our reporter that the deceased, a mason, returned from work last Thursday and was watching a movie on his handset in the sitting room before his wives and children left him and went to bed.

He said one of the wives was later woken up by the cry of one of the children who went to the sitting room to meet his father but discovered that her husband was not there.

“She suddenly raised alarm that attracted neighbours who immediately mobilized for a search that led to the discovery of the body not too far from his house,” he added.

The neighbour, who disclosed that the man left behind two wives and eight children, however said the cause of the death could not be ascertained.

Reacting, the Kubwa Divisional Police Officer, Chief Superintendent Nurrudeen Sabo, said the deceased might have been lynched as there were bruises all over his body.

He however said the corpse had been buried according to Islamic rites.
