The source said his wife had left for work in the morning of that fateful day when he entered the bathroom to take his bath.

“It was his daughter’s call to inform him about her successful graduation from medical school that gave the hint that all was not well. The father’s phone kept ringing without any response,” he said.

According to the source, the daughter eventually called the mother who hurriedly rushed back home after getting the same response her daughter got when she called the husband’s line repeatedly.

“It took the wife some time before she finally located the body of the husband lying lifeless on the floor of the bathroom, having searched the entire building without any success,” the source added.

City News further learnt that she immediately raised alarm which attracted other members of the neighborhood and they assisted her in taking the body to the hospital where he was certified dead.
