‘Buhari’s visit to C/River healthy for democracy’

The flag-off a superhighway construction by President Muhammadu Buhari which was initiated by Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has shown that the president is a true democrat, National vice chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hilliard Eta, has said.

In a statement by his media aide,

of Bassey Ita, Eta said that Tuesday’s visit by President Buhari was a pointer to the fact the APC does not play politics with the people’s welfare.

Similarly, Murtala Adogi, a social critic in Jos, said he was impresssed that an opposition governor was the first to attract President Muhammadu Buhari for a development project, an action which he said “is a plus for the opposition in the country.”
