ONLINE REACTIONS Ayade orders suspension of prayers in schools

-

Mr Ayade is casting a spell on Cross River state children to indoctrinate and initiate them with ease into the occult. The freedom of association and peaceful assembly is part of the fundamental rights of Nigerians and it’s also asserted in the Child’s Rights Act. I hope CAN will go beyond talking and take this human being very seriously before the Almighty God. I also hope the Parents Teachers Association will not go to slumber but call out the children from school to embark on a peaceful protest against this breach and for the immediate rescinding of this satanic imposition. They should not stop untill this evil is removed from their midst. May God bless and preserve all our children. Bassey Esin globalspy3535@yahoo.com Is that why he was elected into government? He better not forget that he is there as a servant, not a director. Ekong ekongokuku@live.com What has prayers done all these years? Lip service is not worship of The Lord. Righteousness exalts a nation.

Wada lashikiwada@yahoo.com People should say their prayers at home with their children before sending them to school. CAN is an offshoot of political parties, so no one takes them serious. Okafor John okaforjohn77@gmail.com It’s a pity for what some people are commenting here! And they forget that God first before any other issues in life. Whether he goes to church or he serve Satan, let him hears this Psalm 9 verse 17 says the wicked shall turn to hell and all the nations that forget God. So, let him be aware. Osondu James iwu4real@gmail.com I believe he knows what he is doing by saying such. People forget history so soon; religion is nowhere to be found in Africa before the 15th century, not until the white Caucasians came and impose the so-called religions on us. They brainwashed us on different aspects and make us forget our ancestors. I am not disputing prayer because it is the key to living. I only wish people should go back to history when it comes to religious matter in Nigeria because most people are living in lies and deceit they believe in. People should just wise up. Williams Bada andrewkg1@yahoo.com Why can’t everyone have family prayers in their homes before they set out for the day? Is it the assembly prayers that will set this sick country free from the clutches of hypocritical CAN and its affiliate rabble-rousers? Nigerians go out every day to collect bribes, inflate contracts, sell exam papers, consult voodoo priests for money charms, sell substandard/ fake parts/medicine and yet go to camps, mountains and retreats to consult a god who obviously inhabits sleaze. Prayers of deviled hearts contaminate the well of righteousness! Zacchaeus Akinleye smartsegun@yahoo.com In fact, Satan is knocking on the doors of our society. It is unbelievable that such directive should be given. Are the schoolpupils prayers disturbing the governor’s occult practices? What sort of leaders is Nigeria breeding? Some of them who mount there becomes either Caesar or Pilate or Herod. Maybe during the recent visit of Buhari, he might have told the said governor to help him plant Islam in his state, who knows. Uche agalimo59@yahoo.co.uk I hope you are not making Cross River state the headquarter of occultism? You are beginning to forget God. Remember, the state capital is named after God. Benny Agafa bennyagafa@gmail.com If the governor is an atheist, must he force every other person to be one? Efeturi Ojakaminor efetonierevd@gmail.com This directive is ridiculous. Even pagans have prayers. It is prayer that is sustaining him there. On what basis is he calling for the suspension of prayers? He needs to think again. Sometimes, I wonder what manner of leaders we have in this country. There is no unifying force as strong as prayer. Simon Jeggi jeggi247@gmail.com Only ungrateful will be against morning assembly prayers. Michael Chima Ekenyerengozi ekenyerengozimichaelchima@gmail. com
