-

@mansur_112 The Grand Patron of Parkland Golf Club Abuja, Arc. M.B Bello says the potentials to be derived from golf are endless as the sport could be a huge major revenue earner for Nigeria.

In a chat with Daily Trust yesterday, the golf architect and player for over thirty years added that there are immense health benefits also attached to playing golf as outlined by Zankli Hospital owner Dr. Loveth Lawson who was at the club to deliver a paper recently.

“In golf, there are competitions that a player could scoop 10 to 20 million dollars unlike in football where a player signs a contract for years and if something happens in between, the club and player have to find a middle ground in terms of payment. Also look at Tiger Woods for instant, there’s no footballer that earns as much as him.” Bello mentioned.
