Kuje Area Council appoints new information officer

The Kuje Area Council Chairman, Mr Abdulahi Galadima, on Monday approved the appointment of Mr Nimrod Koce as the new head of the information department of the council.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Koce is to replace Mr Bulus Humble.

Speaking to newsmen, Galadima said the appointment had become necessary to rebrand the department for the progress and development of the council on information and publicity.

The chairman, who described the media as a vital tool in every organisation, promised to work with journalists covering the council for the success of his administration.

Responding, the new information officer, promised to work closely with the media in projecting the council’s image.

He solicited the cooperation of journalists covering the council, and urged them to be fair in reporting the council’s activities. (NAN)
