Youth group cautions NDA, rallies for Buhari

Asocio-cultural group, Stand Up for Nigeria (SUN), has appealed to the Niger Delta Avengers not to bomb oil pipelines in the Niger Delta any further.

They made the appeal in Calabar yesterday during a public rally, praising President Muhammadu Buhari ‘s efforts at fighting corruption and revamping the image of the country.

The Co-ordinator, South-South region of the group, Obande Gideon, told the NDA that their violent actions would not help anyone. He added, “Those distracting President Buhari with protests and calls for break-up are enemies of Nigeria and all wellmeaning citizens should call them to order. We will resist any attempt to drag the nation towards the direction of anarchy. We believe that as we support the government against corruption, the government will reciprocate by respecting the constitution of the nation.”
