ONLINE REACTIONS Why I abused Tinubu — Melaye RMAFC pushes for VAT increase to 7.5%
Of admiration, compare the persons of Senator Dino Melaye and H.E. (Chief) Ahmed Bola Tinubu. Commentators shouldn’t be subjective in making individual minds on the subject of discourse.

Explanation is noted! We know senators can agree and disagree. So, speaking to one another cannot be played beyond proportion. If Mrs. Tinubu had called him “dog “then it is very unfortunate considering her age and other factors. Tinubu or no Tinubu , senators must respect themselves because they are in public domain. Wives of big persons should exhibit decorum in the way they approach issues because people look at them in the eye of their husbands. If I was a Judge, I would strike out the case for want of evidence. After all, there are serious issues to talk about. Nigerian men demand an apology from her.

Tinubu is not god, stop arrogating such powers to him that God never gave him. Did you hear his side of the story? Why should the woman call him a ‘thug and dog,’?

These statements from Senator Melaye clearly show his incredibility to be a senator.

Dino, you seem not to be smart enough to know that your political career is ending because of your tongue and thug-like attitudes. If someone calls you names, you call them worse and worst names in return - that’s the Lagos way and Fela called it ‘shakara oloje.’ You don’t threaten to beat someone’s wife regardless of what she said to you

Well with “identified over 1,000 dormant revenue lines,” why is the RAMFC asking for a tax increase on a general level? First, Nigerians would like to know how much does the RMAFC actually pay themselves? What is the principal source of the payment and what is the real value-added to the Nigerian economy? It’s time this institution that burdened Nigerians with a skewed pay structure – where virtually anyone can decide how much he/she receives from the public till as salary; see the NASS pay debacle – is disbanded and re-assembled in line with today’s realities.
