APC pegs N5.5m for Ondo gov’ship forms

The All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday fixed Saturday, August 27, for its governorship primary election in Ondo State, saying women aspirants would be given the forms free.

The governorship nomination forms would be sold at N5 million for male aspirants who would also pay N500,000 for the expression of interest form.

The party, in a statement yesterday by its National Organising Secretary, Senator Osita Izunaso, said the time table was released in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended), the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines and the APC guidelines.

According to the time table and schedule of activities, the sale of nomination forms will commence at the party’s national secretariat from Tuesday, July 19 to end Friday, August.
