‘NTI produces largest number of graduates yearly’

The National Director of the National Teachers Institute (NTI), Aminu Ladan Sharehu has said the distance learning institute produces more graduates every year than any other higher institution in Nigeria.

Speaking during the NTI 2016 matriculation ceremony for 1,113 students admitted into its Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), Bachelor of Education Degree and Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) programmes in Birnin Kebbi, Sharehu said the institute’s learning method was as applicable to all distance learning institutes anywhere in the world.

Sharehu who was represented by the Deputy Director, Dr. Ibrahim Bala, said the NTI had been operating in Kebbi State over 15 years with 14 study centres.
