Re: This charity must begin at home

The opinion written by Aisha Umar Yusuf that appeared in D/Trust Saturday 16th July page 48 was a very shocking revelation. The issue is disheartening and frustrating for she stated ‘politicians cheating their fellow Nigerians’. Imagine a former state governor after spending eight years doing whatever they like they still will earn N35 million monthly. A civil servant after spending 35 years earns N70,000 monthly.
