Jet-A1 scarcity: We’re not affected – AZMAN

- From Yusha’u A. Ibrahim, Kano

The management of AZMAN Air has said the current scarcity of aviation fuel has not affected the commercial activities of the company.

The general manager of the company, Alhaji Lawan Suleiman, in a statement, said: “AZMAN Air Service is an offshoot of AZMAN Oil and Gas Ltd, thus, fuel issue is not a problem and will not be a problem to the company.

“This is evident as throughout the scarcity period, there was no time the company cancelled or even delayed unreasonably its routine schedule flights.”

Suleiman pointed out that based on that, AZMAN Air should not be mentioned among the companies that were seriously affected by the current scarcity of aviation fuel.

He affirmed that AZMAN being one of the best airline companies in the country, would continue to render best services to its teeming passengers.

He, however, advised journalist to always clarify issues from the concerned parties when writing stories on them, as according to him, failure to do so would cause serious damage to the parties involved.
